San Francisco is so breath-taking! While I was busy with work most of the time, I did find time to eat some delicious San Franciscan cuisine, wonder through an outdoor market, and taste some Northern California vino.
After San Francisco it was off to breath-taking Sonoma. This was a busy trip, but I did manage to squeeze in one stop at a winery - Buena Vista Winery, which happens to be California's Oldest Premium Winery...whatever that means. :) It was a fabulous experience and the wine was fantastic!
LA was next on my tour of California. I just so happened to be there for St. Patrick's Day so I got to have a little fun and catch up with fun friends Elizabeth, Courtney, Rachel, Kathryn, and Lorenzo. I stayed at the infamous Roosevelt Hotel (one of my favorites) and soaked up that gorgeous California sunshine as much as I could.
Finally, it was off to visit my wonderful cousins in San Diego, but not without a stop to have lunch with Tess, Jesse, Paige, and Mary in Temecula at Thorton's Winery first. There are not many places as gorgeous as overlooking the vineyard hills in Temecula. With a quick stop at Hart Winery it was off to Kevin & Keri's.
My weekend in San Diego was a real treat. I lived the suburban dream: Ellis' Sports Camp at 9am, Aidan's Tee-Ball Game that afternoon, and Aidan's Spring Fling at his elementary school that night. It was great to be able to spend time with them all...who know's...maybe I'll get to do it more often soon.
